Ecotile floor Nissan Innovation Station at the O2
In May 2010, car manufacturer Nissan had just begun their recently forged, three year partnership with the O2; the entertainment venue has added the motoring company to its host of other brands advertising within the site.
Nissan needed flooring laid in the 505sqm Brand Centre they had created inside the building, in which they planned to showcase their latest car, the Leaf. With the O2 being such a vast area, bringing in 7.5 million visitors per year, the floor had to be durable and easy to maintain yet retain a professional and smart appearance.
They enlisted building and architectural company Lodestar Ltd to liaise with ecotile’s sales team. We advised them to go for our 6mm tile in the Smooth texture, which has a neat hidden joint design and anti slip properties; ideal for use in pedestrian areas. Nissan opted for light grey in colour.
